Ash-cum-Ridley Parish Council was saddened to learn of Her Majesty The Queen's passing at the age of 96. We send our deepest condolences to her family.

The Parish Council will be opening a book of condolence at Ash Green Sports Centre from tommorow morning. It will be available to sign during the normal Centre opening hours.

Cllr Mike Brown, Chairman of the Parish Council said:

"We have been extremely fortunate to have had an outstanding leader, in the late and much lamented Queen. Her impeccable public and private life was an example to all, and her humble nature was highly regarded. As our monarch she was deeply respected throughout the world and we should be proud of her

She will be sadly missed""
